Find a tradesperson by service and parish, then tell them what needs doing. Add a few photos and a preferred date — the more a tradesperson knows up front, the more accurate their price will be.
2. Compare quotes
Verified tradespeople near you review your request and reply with a quote: a price range, how long the job should take, and a note. Compare quotes side by side before you decide.
3. Choose with confidence
Accept the quote you like, pick a date and time that suits you, and your booking is confirmed. You arrange payment directly with your tradesperson — YardHire never takes a cut.

Create your profile
Add your services, the parishes you cover, and photos of your work. It takes a few minutes.
Get verified
Upload your ID and any licences or certificates. Our team reviews every tradesperson personally, usually within two business days.
Receive jobs
Once you are verified you appear in search, receive job requests, and send quotes straight from your dashboard.

Is YardHire free to use?: Yes — YardHire is free for customers. You arrange payment directly with your tradesperson, and we never charge you a platform fee.
How do you verify tradespeople?: Every tradesperson submits identification and any trade licences, certifications or insurance they hold. A member of our team reviews the documents by hand before the profile goes live.
What if I need to cancel?: You can cancel a request or a booking from your account at any time. Your tradesperson is notified automatically.
